How to use your vintage camera
This photography course is designed to give beginners a good basic knowledge of photography theory and practice using vintage cameras and methods. Everything learnt on this course is also applicable to help improve your digital photography. (Location : Honor Oak, South East London, UK)

What sets this course apart?
This day course is taught and directed by a vintage camera dealer using a wide variety of classic equipment. You will be offered a range of cameras from the 1930’s to the 80’s to
practice on. By day’s end you should be confident enough to use any camera both film and digital using manual control giving
you full creativity.
What will I learn?
• Introduction to film photography and the different types of film.
• Theory of using manual film cameras.
• Explanation of the controls and their effects on the results.
• Practical session handling a variety of cameras (make, style…).
• Composition including the artistic side of photography.
• Shooting.
• Analysis of your results.
How much does it cost?
The day’s course is from 10am to 5pm, costs £120 and includes the use of cameras, film developing and prints. A deposit of £50 is required when booking. The balance of £70 must be received before commencement of the day’s course. The deposit is returnable in the event of cancellation if notification is received 5 working days before the course date. Alternatively, we can arrange a place for you on another day.
1 to 1 tuition in the London area
The course is available at our premises or alternatively a place of your choosing within the greater London area. Dates are negotiable, contact us. The cost is £350 and the course will run from 10am to 5pm. Price includes all facilities and materials as the normal day course.
